PRINCIPAL / PRESIDENT

Merit’s design skills integrate an emphasis on ecology, environmental protection, and historic preservation. Her diverse educational background includes degrees obtained from Estonian University of Life Sciences and the University of Washington. This combined with experience in a diverse range of projects lends a creative approach to her work and excellent client responsiveness. Merit has provided design and detailing for a variety of projects including trail and open space planning, park design, streetscape improvements, and multi-modal transportation corridors. She is passionate about integrating ecological and sustainable function into the urban environment and designing multi-functional, multi-generational places.
