Complete Streets

HBB has provided landscape planning and design services throughout the Pacific Northwest on more than 145 streetscape projects and 29 transit-related projects. Many of these projects incorporate the complete streets principles designing for all modes of transport: pedestrian, bicycle, vehicle, transit, and freight. Our design solutions have included hardscape, site furnishings, planting, recreation elements, low impact development, and long-term landscape maintenance programs. In addition, HBB was involved in two of the Puget Sound’s largest streetscape construction projects in 2011 as listed in the Puget Sound Business Journal for the SR-520 Eastside Transit and HOV project, and Mercer Corridor East project in Seattle.
